The poly L lactic acid (collagen stimulating substance) over a period of weeks stimulate your own bodies collagen production thus plumping out the facial contours and filling out the lines. This synthetic material is not made from human or animal sources and is able to be broken down by the body. Apatch test is not required and an average three treatment sessions with a 5-6 week intervals are usually required. The results are not immediate, sculptra provides gradual plumping out and volume to create a natural result, the effects of which can last for up to three years at which top up treatments may be needed to maintain the desired effect.

This procedure involves injecting sclerosing solution via a microscopic needle. The liquid will cause irritation to the vein walls and over the next few weeks 50% of the veins will collapse & shut down. Depending on how many veins you have repeated treatments will be required at four week intervals. Once the veins have shut down they will not come back. This medical treatment is permanent, it does not however prevent further veins occurring in the future.
